Carpenters Local #631’s Monthly Meetings – 1st Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Being involved in Carpenters Local Union #631 is like any other life experience – an opportunity to learn and to grow. The skills you learn, and the knowledge you pick up are transferable to our work and private life. This can help with personal development and career development. Being a union member takes more than just working union. Participation is critical to our success as a Local, aw well as your success as a provider for your family. We’ve all got opinions and ideas on what happens at work and in our lives outside work, but we don’t often get the chance to share them and really feel like we make a difference. Getting involved means you get to speak out on behalf of members just like you on issues that matter. Come and see what we are all about, dinner is provided to those who attend.
Carpenters Local #631’S MAC Meetings – Last Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Come and join our meetings, because you want to make a difference. Our Local Union is a partnership of members and officers, there’s no getting away from the fact that it can only work effectively with voluntary effort from members. That means members just like yourself, playing their part. We need ordinary members who want to get things done, who are ready to work with other members on common issues, and who want to make a positive change in people’s everyday lives. Remember our Local can only be as strong as we are…..
Carpenters Local #631’s P.R.I.D.E. Program
Members of the local who give their time and effort to participate in union activities will now have an easier time showing off their union pride. The P.R.I.D.E. (Participation Responsibility Integrity Dedication Education) program, establishes a point system for participation in union events. P.R.I.D.E. points may be redeemed for pins, sunglasses, hats, shirts and other items. Members can only receive these items with participation, this is a fair way to recognize members who are actively participating in Union events.
